Ever Wonder What A Michelangelo Painting Photo-Bombed By A Big Ginger Tabby Would Look Like?

By -

Ever wondered what the great artists from the past – the Old Masters – would say if they were photo-bombed by a big ginger tabby? Check out these hilarious pictures of famous paintings and have a think about what the artists might say at the ginger tabby additions.

The little cherubs in our small feature pic above, the original painting by Raphael, are actually non-religious and they are not cherubs or angels. They’re small, secular, often humorous figures of chubby male children often included by artists of the time, and they’re called ”putti”. The Mona Lisa below, is a portrait masterpiece of the wife of a well to do silk and cloth merchant, Francesco del Giocondo, by legendary Italian artist, Leonardo da Vinci

See if you agree with the captions … and if you have better ones, make sure to tell us about it in the comments! We’d love to hear from you. Thanks to MobileLikez for these great pics!

  1. You’re so right, and we hope you can get to the web page story, Melissa because there you’d see that we describe this little detail as from Raphael, not Michelangelo. There IS a Michelangelo though… you’ll find it there along with the Raphael and the Vermeer! 🙂
